Emily started her academic studies ( B.A ) in the departments of  Middle Eastern Studies and Soociology and anthropology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

She currently is working as a research assistant in the project “sacred places”. Emily is interested in the anthropological study of religion, gender, and human rights.
