Connie Gagliardi

Connie received her B.A. in the departments of History and Art History from McGill University. She is currently completing her M.A in the department of Anthropology at the University of Toronto, where she will continue on to complete her PhD in the Fall, 2014.

Connie has intimately focused on the dynamics of production and dissemination surrounding the icon, "Our Lady of the Wall" (one of the "Sacred Sites in Contested Places") and is very interested in its implications and meaning for the Christian worship in Palestine.
