The Grave of Miriam the Laundress sits among the tens of thousands of tombstones dotting the Mount of Rest (har ha-menukhot), a cemetery in the West Jerusalem neighborhood of Givaat Shaul. Devotees consider Miriam Mizrahi (Died 1967), popularly known as ha-koveset (the laundress), to have been a pious miracle worker who helped countless people with severe fertility problems in the mid-twentieth century.
